Questions:
1) Why are you using Shadow Towers and not Caldari/DG?
2) Are the POS's armed?
3) You haven't specified how many of the resulting composites you'll be making.
4) How many POS's do you intend to run with the 40b, and how many per composite type?
5) On logistics, is an Obelisk the only ship you use?

Are you taking any "fees" for running these towers or are all profits above the cost of mats/fuels paid to shareholders?
My assumption is that if he has this planned properly he can turn around an average between 25 and 35% even without having access to a high end moon. Therefore he'd pocket the remainder after paying 10% to investors.
Edit: also the reason I've asked how many POS's he wants to put up is that it's my firm belief a single person can't look after more than 20 POS's without going mad, so split within 2 people, 40 POS's would be the absolute maximum he could handle.

This kinda seriously hurts the profitability of the operation though, as you need to maximise ISK from each tower. I was alluding to have Caldari towers in pairs where you have 1 simple and one complex, and just cross-feed the intermediates and get double the output from the complex ones, but the issue is you'll have nothing to arm them with (and torps don't work when in reinforced as there's no cpu). I know you're doing this for the high ends where this is a little different.

Try and diversify the number of materials and have as many towers as you can.

5. Atm I use mostly the obelisk and sometimes a occator. If we need another freighter Lady Riona is about 4 hours of training away from flying one (Adv. spaceship command lvl 1 and freighter 1). I usually sit with my alt webbing the freighter but atm that account is inactive so now I just sit ready with my none corp main incase.
Bolded what I was concerned about, otherwise you'll lose your freighter on a weekly basis. Though try and get a Jump Freighter if you can, as they rock for chain logistics. 
In fact I wouldn't mind you adding 4b to the IPO just to get one.
